A close look at SHINE St. Pete Mural Festival

During the festival this year, it will broaden the partnership of SHINE with PangeaSeed Foundation’s Sea Walls: Artists for Oceans program to organize Sea Walls: St. Petersburg.

Throughout the past decade, St. Petersburg has been an international mural destination. The walls and streets are the canvas which resulted in an outdoor art gallery with over 600 murals that is free and open 24/7 for everyone to enjoy.

The lineup of artists will focus solely on artists who are based in Florida, highlighting the Tampa Bay muralists, who are the strength of SHINE. It will surely make St. Petersburg give out its well-known artistic vibe all year round.

By establishing on last year’s collaborative work with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA), all the 10 latest murals will explore the relationship of human health and environmental health as we traverse the current global pandemic.

The social and economic downfall experienced globally is set against lucid waters, unpolluted air, and a shifted spotlight on the worth of human and animal interaction.

The lineup of artists in the 6th Annual SHINE Mural Festival include the following:
